My name is Anita Palazzo Serratore, and I'm the proud owner and operator of Nita-Baker? specializing in the finest homemade Italian and Polish pastries and sweets. I have been in business for 5 years and I am still growing thanks to all of you.
I would like to tell you about the baking trade in my family. I am the fourth generation to continue this tradition. My great-grandfather started out as a baker in Poland working for his father. He then moved to Philadelphia in the late 1800's where he opened his own bakery. I took an interest in his passion for baking and decided at an early age to be a baker too. Over the years of baking, I have taken a lot of time and worked very closely with my Italian grand mom so I can preserve all the Italian trades she has to offer us. With the knowledge of the Polish and Italian heritages I've been able to please many.
